By using whami you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use whami.
• You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure — anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
• One person, one account. Do not create accounts to evade a block or a suspension.
• You can delete your account at any time, from the app or from the deletion page.

Your content

You keep ownership of the clips and comments you post. To be able to run the service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, and display your content inside whami — showing your clip to other players, generating a thumbnail from it, and converting it for playback. That licence exists only so the app can function, and it ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for what you post. By posting, you confirm that:

• you filmed it yourself, or you have the right to post it;
• it does not infringe anyone else's rights;
• you had the right to be where you filmed, and you were not trespassing.

Community guidelines

whami is a game about places. These are the things that will get content removed and accounts suspended. Do not post, send, or share:

• Sexual content — nudity, sexual activity, or sexually suggestive material. Absolutely no sexual content involving minors; that is reported to the authorities.
• Violence and dangerous acts — graphic violence, gore, cruelty to people or animals, or footage encouraging dangerous behaviour.
• Harassment and hate — attacks, threats, or degrading treatment of a person or group, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
• Other people's private information — home addresses, phone numbers, documents, or footage that identifies where a specific private individual lives or works.
• Illegal activity — content that promotes or facilitates crime, including the sale of drugs, weapons, or stolen goods.
• Spam and deception — bulk or repetitive posting, impersonation, scams, or clips whose location is deliberately falsified.
• Content filmed where you had no right to be, or filmed to intrude on someone's privacy — through windows, into homes, or of someone who has asked you to stop.

Reporting and blocking

Every clip has a report button in the app. Choose the reason that fits and it goes to us for review; the clip disappears from your view straight away, whatever we decide.

You can also block anyone from their profile or by tapping their picture on a clip. Blocking hides the two of you from each other completely — neither sees the other's clips or comments, and any follow between you is removed. The person you block is not told. Blocks can be undone from Blocked accounts in the app.

How we enforce this

We review reported content. Depending on what we find, we may remove a clip or comment, restrict an account, or suspend it permanently. Severe cases — particularly anything involving the safety of a child — are escalated to law enforcement. We may act without prior notice where someone's safety is at stake.

Service availability

whami is offered as it is. It is in testing, features will change, and it may be unavailable at times. Please do not treat it as the only copy of anything you care about — keep your own copy of clips that matter to you.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of whami. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will say so in the app. Continuing to use whami after a change means you accept it.
